The notion of poverty in the world is the source for separating the earth into the Rich and the Poor Worlds. This leads us to the notion that we have a world of cores and peripheries. This is an important concept for you to grasp. Thus we have only two established worlds, and we are fortunate to be in one. Yet, we can also be excluded from a core depending upon where we live.
